So, the Claw Zord wasn't entirely created by Antonio. I'd be annoyed, but his being able to fix it when nobody else could is still impressive, and it being a known-to-the-Shiba zord helps the believability of it combining later.

OMG. I think they're editing Dayu and Deker's backstory to tie them together, and I DON'T CARE. I thought Shinkenger was heading in a Tayuu/Juuzo direction right up until NOPE DOUKOUKU at the end, so I'm totally okay with this.

More signs that the total copypaste nature of the start of the season was due to the rushed production.

Well, the "chop toys, not people" was probably more of a "we can't show that on a US kids' show" thing, but the rest.

And the little touches are there too - until he tore it for tying weapons to wrists, I hadn't noticed that Antonio's scarf had the same pattern as Genta's usual outfit.

TBQH I've been dreading this episode, because I don't think Kevin's actor can act. It was better than I expected it would be. :)

The Doukouku thing at the end didn't surprise me, though I wish it could have been Dayuu/Juuzo. I've got my priorities in line for PRS. ;) It looks like they're still going with the scorned woman for Dayuu, though, so I wonder how they'll make it work.

Yeah... but Juzo was boring as hell, as was Dayu. I can't see this as promising. Putting two boring people together doesn't do much :|

It was a nice surprise about Ebizou. I LOVED THE LITTLE NOISE IT MADE. It wasn't Ebizou's but it was something :D

That, and Deker is a little pervy with his need to fight Jayden with URAMASAAAAAAAH.

My sister and I stared at the toys gathered for a long while trying to remember the plot for the Shinkenger episode. And when we remembered we couldn't help the disappointment. Killing kids is more evil than killing their toys. Buut I guess it makes sense due to the US's TV censors.

I feel so alone in this but I prefer the Dayu/Doukouku relationship over the Dayu/Juuzo one. Juuzo seemed hell-bent on being in love with his sword only, while passive aggressively insulting Dayu. At least Doukouku knew when there was something wrong with Dayu. You know, until he kicked her out of his club.

Granted I am still on episode 40 of the show, so my opinion could change.

As I was watching the scene where Xandred was asking Dayu what was wrong, I randomly remembered what happened at the end of Shinken and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

No worries, I recently finished episode 39 and I was being cautiously optimistic about...well everything, mainly Dayu. Now I am worried about her, but that's just me ><.
